Pupil Voices

There are a number of groups in school where the children can get involved in school life, each group is supported by a member of staff.

Learning Ambassadors

Our Learning Ambassadors are dedicated to helping every child become a successful St John’s learner by living out our core values of Courage, Compassion, and Creativity.

They play a key role in promoting and reflecting on what it means to be a Christian school, while also encouraging respect and celebration of different religions and beliefs.

Each month, they engage in meaningful discussions with senior leaders around the Issue of the Month. They take these conversations back to their classes, ensuring every child has the opportunity to share their thoughts. The ambassadors then return with their findings, helping to shape real and positive change across the school.

Junior Road Safety Officers

Their role is to make sure all of the children (and other road users) know how to keep us safe whilst travelling.

Librarians

Our librarians have a real talent for reading and work alongside our school librarian to make the library an inviting place for all children to visit.  They also help to promote reading challenges and events.

Prefects

Their role is to help all children to become confident citizens who make a positive contribution to our school and community.

House Captains

They help in school in a variety of ways, from giving tours to helping to organise Sports Day and breaktime games.

We are very lucky and proud to have such wonderful groups helping in school.
